Each treatment is tailored to suit the client and their needs for pain relief, injury rehabilitation or increase range of movement.
All our therapists have a Diploma of remedial massage, are registered to a massage association which requires continual professional development each year.
Only remedial treatments are eligible to claim a private health rebate through health funds, this can be done at the time of your appointment through the HICAPS terminal.
Remedial Massage
Is the assessment and treatment of muscles, ligaments and connective tissues, to identify the cause of pain or issue and remedy it with hands on manual therapy techniques.
This style of treatment assists in rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain, dysfunctional posture, or movement patterns, acute or chronic pain and occupational related injuries.
Some common conditions and injuries that may benefit, Headaches, migraines, lower back pain, rotator cuff related pain, neck pain, and postural issues.

Full Body Deep Tissue
Is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia (connective tissue).
It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes. It can assist in breaking up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduces tension in muscles. It may also promote faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.
This treatment is not eligible for a health fund rebate.

Relaxation Massage
is designed to relax the body and mind to help reduce physical and emotional stress of everyday life.
It involves long flowing and kneading strokes combined with rhythmic tapping techniques performed at your chosen pressure which assists in settling the nervous system and encourage blood flow throughout the body.

Pregnancy Massage
is a combination of relaxation and deep tissue techniques to address certain conditions related to pregnancy such as muscle and joint pain, also can reduce swelling and stress of the woman.
It involves soothing techniques focused to ease the aches and pains on the areas of strain on the body of the mother-to-be.
Depending on the weeks of gestation a special pregnancy pillow can be used for the lady to lay comfortably on her belly otherwise treatments are performed side lying.

Corporate Massage
is a service that a massage therapist will come to your workplace and provide short massage to staff members.
Staff members remain fully clothed in their own chair, while the receive a massage that focuses on the neck, shoulders and upper back to help relieve stress and promote relaxation.
There is a minimum of 2 hrs + travel fee for this service.

Seated Massage
is a service that a massage therapist will come to your workplace or event and provide short massages to staff members or participants on an ergonomic massage chair.
Recipient will sit on the ergonomic chair, fully clothed, facing forward while allowing ease of access to their neck, shoulders and back to receive a massage. Massage times can vary to suit each situation, generally we allow 10 – 15 minutes each person.
There is a minimum of 2 hrs + travel fee for this service.

HICAPS
Busselton Remedial Massage works with all private Health Funds which means that, provided you have the correct cover, you will be able eligible for a rebate from your health fund. EFTPOS & HICAPS facilities are available so you can claim immediately.
