Our Story

Busselton Remedial Massage was created from a long-standing dream of Mel’s to own and run her own business and a passion for helping people reduce their pain in a natural way and get them moving again.

Opening her doors from a home-based business in March of 2017, Mel has worked hard and has had continual growth in the business to now run thriving clinic based in the centre of Busselton. The Clinic has 3 therapists and offers a range of treatments from relaxation and remedial to Pregnancy and Corporate massage.

Over these years the business has been nominated as a finalist in a number of business awards and has won Micro Business award 2 years in a row from the Busselton Chamber of Commerce Business excellence awards in 2021 and 2022.

Meet The Team

Melanie Suriani

Melanie Suriani

Mel completed my Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2005 from Central TAFE in Perth. She worked in the corporate massage field for 1.5 years throughout the Perth region before starting Busselton Remedial Massage some years after.

She has a passion for helping people to get their bodies out of pain and assist them in improving functional movement for everyday life. Mel is fascinated by the human body and always has a course booked in for continual professional development.

She is a Busselton local who grew up in the area, only leaving to further her studies. After traveling the world, she wanted to come back to her roots with her family to start the business and raise their kids.

Mel loves spending time in the outdoors, especially the beaches in the South-west and having family time on adventures.
